After setting paddles_verbaut, if CF error still exists. Then use ISTA Goto Vehicle Management -> Service Function -> Transmission Control unit -> Resetting Adaptation Function -> Shift Paddles -> Reset. Then clear error code and CF should go away. 
That's OK but it's just a generic OBDII tool and doesn't offer BMW support therefore it cannot access all of the systems in the MINI. The advantage of the Autoenginuity is it will display all codes and allows read write to everything too.
Horrible stutter in 4th gear around 5k rpm, and a rough idle. The replacement position sensor I got read k Ohms at close and k Ohms at open. By the way. There is no "cleaning the contacts" fix for your old TPS. REPLACE IT, that's the only fix. Godbless our soldiers!.
The Bentley Eight uses a Bosch Motronic ECU which, helpfully, allows you read error codes to determine any issues you may have. I'm led to believe that not all models have the black square Motronic button so check first to see if you do before following the guide.
